The idea for this concert began with a shared dream among Bengali music lovers across Melbourne—to experience two of the most beloved voices of Bengali music on one stage. Over the years, community members have expressed a strong desire for more premium live music events that celebrate the richness, emotion, and nostalgia of Bengali culture.
Listening to this enthusiasm, Bongosathi envisioned a truly special event that would bring together audiences from across Victoria for an unforgettable musical experience. After months of planning and discussions, that vision became a reality with the announcement of Srikanto Acharya and Subhamita Banerjee performing live together in Melbourne.
As this is the first time these two legendary artists will share the stage in Melbourne, the concert represents much more than an evening of entertainment.
